Feedback: Jurassic World Aftermath
Impressions and Feedback:
This game thrives within the cat-and-mouse gameplay formula, and the reveal of raptors in spaces are thrlling and downright magical. These momemts fill the majority of the experience, but the story gets lost in the mix. There are some points where this cat-and-mouse loop takes up so much mental energy that you forgot why you are doing the things you are doing. The compass definitely helps however. Some room for growth would be some additional environmental interactions besides hand scanners and computers, although these puzzles are clever.
Actionable Suggestions:
- Include a tad more environmental objects to interact with. Books, plants, key cards, etc. This will make the world feel more real to players.
- Make objectives a bit more clear. The VO over the radio talks a tad too fast to fully process what the player should do next. Although the compass makes the spatial direction of objectives clear, the ‘why’ of these objectives becomes easily lost.
